CANDICE TRIPP: TINY DRAMA @ JOSHUA LINER GALLERY NYC
The Last Known whereabouts of Penny Stone
Candice Tripp was a new discovery for me. She is showing adjacent to Kris Kuksi at Joshua Liner Gallery. I liked the playful nature of her work. It was kind of like a tongue in cheek slightly creepy kids coloring book as a show if that makes any sense. I included titles of her painting because they are an important part of her puzzle and lends the coloring book/Edward Gorey theme to the work that I mentioned. I though it was pretty cool go check it @ Joshua Liner Gallery at 528 w 28th st I think you’ll dig it.

The luxury of being left alone for a bit
Candice Tripp’s work is pretty cool. it reminds me of Blake Fontana and Josh Keys a bitthere’s a lot of people paintings animals these days but here tongue and cheek approach and child like playfullness seperates her from the others mentioned. I like and hopefully you will to go peep it at Joshua Liner gallery 528 w 28th st http://joshualinergallery.com/
