BOBBITO X PROKEDS ROYAL FLASH 30TH YR ANNIVERSARY EVENT
The event was smooth as butter. My people at Complex did they’re thing and of course Stretch Bobbito and Rich Medina killed it with soulful selections all night long. Add Tato Torres and Yerbabuena to the mix and it was a epic night of good vibes and sounds. Freer booze and food for the duration didn’t hurt one bit. I’m proud to have been a part of what Bobbito called “A magical night of friends and family as opposed to industry nonsense.”
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Pro Keds and Bobbito is a perfect marriage looking forward to a whole lot more of these types of events and moments. Pro Keds and me so far so great!

When Bobbito says this is some real family ish right here it got emotional for me to be honest. This year a lot of important people with in the culture and in my personal life have departed the earth way to soon….I think reflecting on that moments like this have taken on a much deeper meaning for me personally….. I was honored to been able to have a hand in being part of this night it was really magical…

This pic in a metaphor for the entire evening…Seeing these two DJ together makes me happy I know I’m corny but the Stretch and Bobbito show defines a period of my life it was a ritual of sorts to go by the show and snap,call in and snap and just tape it every single week. So many memories and so much history with these guys.
I am honored to have been involved with all of these cats….this evening was a reminder of things for one the vitality of music and friendship and how for a lot of us involved in this night will be forever connected in many ways….. Besides that I had a truly amazing evening!
