THE REAL FREEWAY RICKY ROSS AND THE CONTRAGATE STORY.
Ricky Ross is one of the most compelling people in the history of the dope game. He directly was a link between Contra Gate, Oliver North and the dope trade in South Central Los Angeles. Though many of his actions were irreprehensible he is a amazingly intriguing person. Much like Gary Webb the person who unearthed his story I will not be surprised if he comes up dead in a questionable suicide or is run over by a truck one day. He simply knows too much,was to deeply involved in a global conspiracy that had immense repercussions.
His life is a movie and in the midst of it all Gary Webb’s life was destroyed for reporting the truth. Besides Maxine Waters no politician stood by Ross or Webb’s side and in all honesty I was always shocked she was not given a smear campaign for her willingness to speak the truth time and time again. If you don’t know about Contra gate and the ramifications it had politically and culturally specifically the genocide inflicted upon black people in Los Angeles I suggest you get a late pass or at least peep these links:
For more on Gary Webb the reporter who was found dead from suicide in a very questionable death. He died from not 1 but 2 gunshot wounds to the head. You figure out what really happened. Gary Webb was a freedom fighter of the highest order and one day he should have a holiday named after him for being the one face in the media to confront the truth.
