Yo Dante!
These pics are vintage shots of an outlaw MC that started in Los Angeles called The Chosen Few. They were the first integrated outlaw, 1% MC. They are still around, still strong, and along with Oakland’s East Bay Dragons, and California’s Soul Brothers, they helped start what is known as the Black Biker Set.
My blog has a bunch of old school pix (including these), as well as stories and some cool history. Peep it out.
Also, you need to pick up the book, Soul On Bikes, it’s about The East Bay Dragons, the longest running all black, all Harley MC, they are amazing, totally groundbreaking, and along with the Oakland Hells Angels at the time, helped create a style of chopper that is still around to this day. Being from LA I have a soft spot for these dudes pictured above, especially because their clubhouse started not far from my dad’s hood in South Central. My uncle said nobody, not even the local bangers would mess with these dudes.
Nice post, keep up the good shit!
