STREETS OF MIAMI PART 2:THE GRAF EDITION
Here’s part 2 of my promised blog: MSK/AWR/7th letter collective are just sick end of story. Hung with the cats a little this past weekend and was honored to watch them rock some walls for a few. This is Augor and I never saw a style like this before in my life…….This was unreal
This says Diane……Not sure who did it but it’s ill… I wanna say Zeser but I’m not sure
Crush……Kids nice with his…Nice dude glad to have meet him this past weekend
This is my man Risky…..He and Eclipse are the people I know initially from the MSK/AWR/7th letter massive…..Risky started Third Rail back in the day and was a pioneer in bridging the gaps of style from east to west….One of the first cats to get love from people in the east…Risky is OG….
Sever is my dude he’s a cool cat……and he’s tremendous…..Can you say Tennessee?
This guy is just so original…love his shit had to shout him out …it says REYES if you didn’t know
Wasn’t exactly sure who did what so rather than credit the wrong artist I’m gonna hope cats peep it and can give me some credit’s. The street/graf painting scene at this years art basel was the most engaging thing I experienced all weekend. I was glad to have witnessed this with my spiritual older brother Haze and travel guide Mr.Hicks as well as my friend London and the before mentioned Sinse. This was some memorable shit to see and as I get older I value witnessing moments in time that I believe/hope will resonate in the future and will eventually be landmarks for the furthering of the culture. Ok enough D Ross pretentious nonsense for now I’m out to go check my old pals the Souls Of Mischief rock at one of the last shows at the soon closing Knitting Factory…….. More to come from my Miami excursion…..MSK/AWR/7th Letter crew thanks for restoring my faith in graf and letter shapes once again…Risky you know how we do………See yall on the west side soon come…..
Enjoy
