I wanna start by apologizing for the lame sound at the Standard downtown or shall I say Substandard downtown. I was appalled at the sound system we were all subjected to we all deserve way better. The homies Pac Div didn’t get to perform, Johnny Polygon got chumped by the sound system and so did every DJ all night long. The promoter couldn’t find me the sound man for like 4 hours straight and I had a night from hell. Still looking for the sound man in fact. And the promoter.
Thanks Jesse Lee you really slayed me last night and for that your the star schmuck thus far on my west coast swing, be proud holmes! Oh yeah fuck the Standard downtown as well it gets star billing on the schmuck award as that place is the lamest piece of shit hotel on the face of the earth, worst staff ever, lamest sound system in all of LA and overall not a spot I will ever grace with my presence again. One big shit sandwich if you ask me.
Anyways I didnt beat anyone up, I didn’t get thrown out or choked by a Samoan bouncer I just got drunk and told Jesse he was a suspended…..Old DR would choked him for breathing…..Kinder and gentler I suspect these years but man I still woke up pissed off!
