MANNY MANIA DJ SHOTS

I spun at Manny Mania the other week. Great contest didn’t get to shoot too many pics I was busy DJing all day. I was rooting for the homie Chico Brenes he made the finals and came in 3rd. His semi finals run was the best run of the whole contest get em next time holmes.Joey Brezenski won and Brandon ” Yo DJ play Lil Wayne for me” Biebel came in 2nd. He is a trip and a ripper but Joey B pulled of some sick ass shit he deserved the win. I still rooted for Chico fuck it!

Highlight of the day for me was Alchemist showed up with prodigy’s son lil P who is a skater and a great kid. He wanted to meet Luis Tolentino bad cause there both from Queens. I got ya next time Lil P I promise. Oh yeah Alchemist was a lil skater dude when I first met him waaaaaay back he’s not fronting he loves skating something cats dont know. Watch out for the Soul Assassins real talk!

Had a great day it was dumb hot my Serato plates warped from the heat ( lucky I had backups with me!) I got to play some a few hesh sets which rocked since I never get to do that. I was psyched on how diverse the crowd was color wise, fashion wise and skate wise the kids like they say are all right these days love seeing lots of kids of color in the skate equation its a beautiful thing. Good event I’m down next year Bruno Holla!
